• TSi in use on a farm, weighing and drafting heifers.
  • Overview of TSi showing the ‘yard’ screen This is where historical data is displayed and new data can be entered for individual animals.
  • At the top left of the screen is the identity of the animal that has been selected either by scanning an EID tag or by pressing ‘Find Tag’ and typing in the ID number of the animal.
  • At the top right of the screen is the current weight of the animal, as measured by the attached loadbars.
  • This left hand side of the ‘Collect’ screen shows the traits that have been collected today. E.g. live weight and any other measurements or observations that have been made about the animal.
  • The ‘trait’ history screen shows all the previously recorded live weights and any other data recorded for the animal in previous sessions or sourced from data imported into the TSi.
  • The middle of the screen shows activities that have applied to this animal today. Activities can include things like mating, tattooing, culling, drenching, drug treatments etc.
  • The ‘activities’ history screen shows all previously recorded activities.
  • Animals from each client can be allocated into groups. This enables reporting by group. Later these animals can be automatically drafted into client mobs, enabling animals from multiple clients to be run together.
  • The 'Stats' view automatically shows weighing statistics. Press the 'Group' button to see statistics by group (below - bottom right).
  • Easily monitor weight gain - compare the growth of animal from different clients. The ‘Stats’ screen shown below can display live weight; weight gain (ADG); or other traits. Here the weight gain is shown for different feeding regimes.
  • Compare the performance of your animals in many ways. E.g. here the two sources of animals are compared, showing that animals from Source 2 gain weight at almost double the rate of those from Source 1.
