Russell WilsonRussell Wilson has been with Gallagher since 1985, initially based in the South Island where he was Territory Manager for the Canterbury, Marlborough, Nelson and West Coast region. Early in 2007 Russell transferred to his current TM role looking after Gallagher's Northland customer base. Russell is well known in the rural community. While holding down various positions within Gallagher - including a period overseas as a Sales Manager in Canada - his customers have always enjoyed his good humour, knowledge and personable manner. Like all Gallagher Territory Managers, Russell is a technician within his field. His depth of knowledge in both electric fencing and animal management systems (in particular in the equine industry) is well respected and sought after. A typical working day for Russell would include rural supply store visits, on-farm advice, installation of various Gallagher products and handling numerous calls for technical advice, all while traveling up to 60,000km a year. Away from his day job, Russell and his wife Mary can be found on their lifestyle block near Paihia or following their harness racing interests around New Zealand. |
