Paul GriggsPaul Griggs recently rejoined Gallagher after 14 years away. While the company has grown a bit since he left, he says the key philosophies remain the same. “I’ve always been a passionate Gallagher’s supporter. It’s a company with good people, a great product range and senior managers who genuinely care about the people that work for them.” Paul first started with Gallagher in 1986 as a Territory Manager. He left in 1992 to work for a rural merchandiser, later joining a large fence wire manufacturer where he worked his way up to southern sales manager. “Even though I wasn’t working directly for Gallagher I still had a lot to do with the company and my relationship with the management team remained strong.” Paul was appointed Key Account Manager in October 2006. He looks after a number of clients and is also responsible for relationships with potential new business contacts outside of the traditional rural retail market. Other duties include assisting with the development of training modules and acting as product manager for the Mighty Mule gate-opener range. Paul and partner Kim share 7 children and live in Hamilton. A keen cyclist, his other interests include coaching rugby and cricket. He also enjoys art and recently became a grandparent! |
